The 10 year treasury yield crept higher towards 1.63% this week and investors remain cautious towards technology stocks. High beta and speculative stocks are most sensitive to rising interest rates because it affects the capital asset pricing model calculations and makes higher market valuations look less attractive. The QQQ NASDAQ 100 ETF remains in the danger zone below its 50 day moving average and only time will tell if this could turn into a deepening correction.
